Last year over 150,000 webpages containing hundreds of thousands of images and videos of children suffering sexual abuse were assessed and removed from the internet by our analysts. 32% of those images were of children under 10 years old. The younger the child, the more severe the abuse. Over 1,500 reports assessed by our team were confirmed to show children under the age of two suffering sexual abuse.
In 2021, this activity has increased significantly, partly due to the COVID pandemic.
As one of the world’s leading organisations fighting online child sexual abuse, we rely on the generous support of the public, charitable giving bodies and the tech community. Your support will help us continue and increase our vital work in helping these victims.
