Mike joined the Internet Watch Foundation in May 2025 to oversee its Finance, HR, Facilities and Legal activities. His role involves developing and maintaining fit for purpose support functions that promote value for money and organisational resilience.
Before joining IWF he was COO and Deputy CEO of Cumberland Lodge, a charity that promotes an understanding of the importance of ethics, and prior to that was Deputy CFO of Oxfam GB.
Earlier in his career Mike worked in the private sector, including professional services, engineering, software development, retail and hospitality businesses, from startups to established international brands such as Tesco and Burberry.
He is also a trustee of First Give a charity that educates 35,000 teenagers a year about the importance of social issues and voluntary action.
As well as being a Chartered Accountant, Mike has a degree in Economics from UCL and an MSc in Voluntary Sector Management from Bayes Business School.
