The Internet Watch Foundation has been recognised for its work fighting online child sexual abuse content by receiving a Runner Up award at the Nominet Internet Awards 2013.
Celebrating the internet as a force for good, the Nominet Internet Awards recognise and raise awareness of UK businesses, charities, individuals and public and private sector organisations that are making a difference on, or through, the internet.
Susie Hargreaves, IWF Chief Executive, said: “It is an honour to be recognised by the Nominet Awards. This achievement is dedicated to our team of Analysts whose day job of assessing and tracing online child sexual abuse material isn’t easy but is incredibly important in creating a safer environment for all internet users.”
