Laura joined the IWF in April 2026 as Interim Director of Corporate Affairs with a focus on assuring the organisation’s financial integrity, risk management and operational resilience.
As a member of the Executive Leadership, she leads the teams providing expertise and centralised services across finance, legal, human resources, facilities, governance, and organisational risk contributing towards the safeguarding and stewardship of IWF’s reputation, resources and people by enabling informed decision-making, effective risk management, and fostering resilience across each discipline.
Laura has over 25 years of experience in business strategy, financial strategy, and organisational development across the Public and Not for Profit sector; originally training as a Management Accountant with the NHS, before moving into the Charity sector, where she has remained.
Prior to working with the IWF, Laura was a charity consultant working on numerous projects spanning business improvements, financial sustainability, and organisational strategy.
Laura holds a degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Operational Research and is a member of both the Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA), and Associate Chartered Management Accountants (ACMA).
