Refresh research on:
UK IT Professionals Research Awareness and Understanding of the Sexual Offences Act (SOA) 2003 research
Following the September 2004 IT Professional research and prior to our 'Wipe it out' campaign that was launched in May 2005, we did a refresh study on UK IT Professionals Awareness and Understanding of the Sexual Offences Act (SOA) 2003.
We commissioned Blue Donkey to conduct our research. We asked 200 Senior IT Managers if they were aware of the recent amendments to the Sexual Offences Act and how this legislation relates to them and their organisation in terms of potentially illegal images of children online? We also asked the what action they would take if they found potentially illegal images of children on their company network.
