ญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญญSarah Robertson joins us as Communications Coordinator, taking over responsibility for publicity and media liaison, marketing and promotions as well as broader corporate communications and IWF profile raising.
Sarah has previously worked as Communications Coordinator with Cambridge Genetics Knowledge Park, a Government funded organisation providing national leadership in public health genetics, having graduated in 2002 with an MA and first-class BA in English Literature, specialising in feminist theory and identity politics, from Sussex University. She also has experience of working for media organisations and of freelance writing and marketing.
Sarah said I am excited to be joining such a dynamic team doing such worthwhile work. The IWF has already achieved such a lot and I look forward to contributing my own knowledge and skills to its future aims and success.
Lene Nielsen has progressed from part-time Communications Assistant to full-time Communications Executive as well as being the IWF Webmaster. She will assist with carrying out our communications strategies and help the organisation to continue to raise its profile in the public and private sectors.
Lene has worked part-time at the IWF since January 2005 having graduated with a BA in Communications Studies from APU. She is very pleased to be able to further develop the great work she has already been doing with the IWF.
Peter Robbins, CEO, IWF said: The IWF are delighted to welcome Sarah and Lene full time to the organisation and I look forward to seeing the results of a new communications collaboration. Without continued work to raise the profile, awareness and understanding of the IWF, the self regulatory model would not be as successful as it is. Communicating our messages to stakeholders, the media and the public is vital to our work.
