Internet: Regulation
Hugo Swire MP: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what Acts passed in the last 10 years for which her Department is responsible contained provisions regulating the internet. [188829]
Vernon Coaker MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Crime Reduction, Home Office: The Home Office manages the Computer Misuse Act 1990 which covers crimes committed against computer systems. We do not regulate the internet or computer systems as such.
