What is a member
Relevant organisations contribute an annual subscription to become a member of the IWF.
'Relevant' organisations can be described as those companies that are involved in the provision of internet services and online facilities & tools including; Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Content Service Providers (CSPs), Filtering companies, Mobile Operators & Mobile Manufacturers, Search Engines, Software providers and so on.
There are two categories of members:- either Full or Associate members.
Full members are defined as those able to take down online content and are subject to the IWF Code of Practice which describes the expectations of being a Full member and the procedures for dealing with any complaints or failure to comply.
Associate members are companies that support the objectives of the IWF and the IWF Code of Practice but do not host online content, for example hardware manufactures or software companies.

A representative from each subscribing company is entitled membership of the Funding Council.
